A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US 

JM Jewelers, originally founded in 1960, has been owned and operated by 4th generation jeweler, Sheryll Graubart-Hoffman, since November 2007. Sheryll came to JM Jewelers with over 40 years of experience in the jewelry industry. Graduating from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a graduate Gemologist, Sheryll continues to provide exceptional service to customers just as her father, the late Hershel Graubart did for his customers.

Sheryll  began her journey within the jewelry industry in the 1980's when she came to work for her father at their family store, Graubart Jewelers, on Jay Street in Schenectady NY. With dreams of owning her own store and creating a name for herself in the jewelry industry, Sheryll worked tirelessly & when the opportunity to purchase & take over JM Jewelers became available, she had to jump at the opportunity.

When asked what her main goal was as a jeweler for a small community like Rotterdam NY, Sheryll responded with "Providing my customers, new & old, an unforgettable experience. My goal is to give my customers not only a beautiful piece of jewelry that can be passed on for generations but educate them on their jewelry purchase. I have always believed the heart of a business is its customers and I am eternally grateful for the generations of customers that continue to frequent JM Jewelers and I am beyond thankful for the new clientele we have gained over the years".
